「第10回いわてマンガ大賞」コンテスト概要
岩手県では、岩手のマンガ文化の振興と、マンガを活用した本県の魅力を発信することを目的に、
「第10回いわてマンガ大賞」コンテストを開催します。
募集する作品はジャンルを問わず未投稿のオリジナル作品とし、
募集部門は、「一般部門」と、「１～４コマ部門」（２コマ、３コママンガも可）の２部門です。
岩手の幸福、新しい生活様式※、ILC（国際リニアコライダー）の推進、
岩手の食・文化芸術・祭り・スポーツなど、
岩手を自由に思い描いた作品をお待ちしています。
「一般部門」の大賞・優秀賞作品は、賞金のほかに、
岩手県が運営するインターネットサイト「コミックいわてＷＥＢ」に作品を掲載します。
また、一次審査を通過した作品を対象として、複数名の漫画雑誌編集者による作品添削会を開催し、
直接作品へのアドバイスを受ける機会を設けます。
「１〜４コマ部門」では、
一般の部、中学生以下の部ごとに賞を選出することとしており、
小さいお子様からプロの方まで気軽に応募できます。
授賞作品は、「コミックいわてＷＥＢ」への掲載を予定しています。
第10回となる今回は、新たにホームページに応募フォームを新設し、
デジタル原稿の応募がしやすくなりました。
県内外、国外からもたくさんのご応募をお待ちしております。
※「３密」の回避、マスクの着用や手洗いなど、
新型コロナウィルスを想定して厚生労働省が公表しているもの。

“The 10th Iwate Manga Award” Contest Outline
The 10th Iwate Manga Award contest aims to use manga
as a medium to promote the many appeals of our prefecture and
to share Iwate’s brilliant manga culture.
All entries must be original works that have not been previously submitted
or published. All genres are accepted, and you may submit to either of the following categories:
“General category” – create your own short story that focuses on anything related to Iwate
“1-4 panel (koma) manga category” – create a one or more panel manga about Iwate.
We look forward to seeing themes such as The Joy of Iwate,
*New Lifestyles, ILC (International Linear Collider) promotions,
Iwate Food/ Traditional Crafts/ Folk Performing Arts/ Festivals/ Sports, and anything else you can think up!
In addition to receiving a monetary award, the winners of
the grand prize and excellence award in the“General category”
will be published on Comic Iwate WEB.
We are planning to hold an event in Morioka City during
the latter half of October at which editors from a
well-known manga magazine company
will offer constructive criticism of the
manga submitted from within Japan that passed the initial screening.
The “1-4 panel manga category” will be further divided into general or junior divisions and judged separately.
Entries from all ages, beginners or professional, are welcome.
The winners of the general and junior divisions will be published on Comic Iwate WEB.
For this contest, application forms have been made available
on the contest homepage to allow for easy online applications.
We look forward to the many entries from all aspiring local and international artists!!
